A range of services are available on-site, and transport is available to access off-site services. Services may include: Jadelle insertion and removal; IUD/IUS insertion and removal; Depo Provera; Oral Contraception; Emergency Contraception; Condoms; STI screening and treatment.

Available free for all enrolled students (only students enrolled in a school can access services within that school).

Free Contraception Consults &
Fit & Forget Contraception

Te Whatu Ora | Health NZ are funding specific contraception services for free* to help empower people to make informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health.

This is in addition to other services that are available in the community through Sexual Health Clinics and Family Planning. Services that are covered under this agreement and free of charge to waahine/women+, includes:

Free contraception consultation with a trained healthcare professional to discuss all contraception options for you to choose the best option for you.

Free appointment time to insert and/or remove either an Implant or IUD device

(this may vary depending on the contraception and/or the provider).

No costs for either the Implant or IUD device.

*Services and fees may vary at the discretion of the provider. Please ensure to ask your provider.

Who is Eligible?

To be eligible** for free contraception, service users reside in Counties Manukau or are enrolled or are presenting to a practice in Counties Manukau and meet any ONE of the following priority populations:

Informed consent, patient choice and autonomy must be upheld at all times

Ask your service provider to see if you are eligible to access funding. If you are not eligible, fees will be determined by the provider.

**Eligibility has been defined by Te Whatu Ora | Health NZ. Eligibility and fees will be determined by the provider and may vary at the discretion of the provider. Please ensure to ask your provider prior to your appointment.
